America's Leadership Development Fraternity

Joining a fraternity is one of the best decisions you can make to enhance your college experience. Actual fraternity life is nothing like what is portrayed in the movies. It's a place to grow as an individual, to become a leader, to get connected with other people on campus, and to have fun and make friends. The brothers of Alpha Tau Omega are truly like a family. Whether you are at a high point in your life, or a low one, your brothers will always be there to support you.
Alpha Tau Omega is known as America's Leadership Development Fraternity. We strive to make ourselves better leaders in every way possible. That means getting involved. We ask that all of our members be involved in at least one other organization that they are interested in on campus. Whether that means UOSA, Campus Activities Council, or Spanish Club it doesn't matter as long as your involved. Often times college is just as much about the hands you shake as the grades you make. There is no better way to meet people in college than to get involved.
Scholarship is also something the is taken seriously by every ATΩ. Let's face it, we come to college to make good grades, get a degree, and hopefully land a job after college. Numerous scholarship programs make this easier. We have everything from study groups, to in house tutors, to scholarships for making good grades. At ATΩ fraternity life will never get in the way of your studies.
While leadership and scholarship is important we also like to have a good time. Our social activities are among the very best on campus. We are constantly spending time together. Every month we hold a brotherhood event. Sometimes we go to a Thunder game together, other times we'll go play paintball. These events are a great way to relieve some of the stress that comes with college life and they are a great way to bond with your brothers. And like other houses, we host several date parties throughout the year.
We are always looking for men of good character to join our brotherhood. We are the only IFC fraternity at OU whose ritual is based on Christian values. And while we are not a traditional "Christian fraternity" its teachings guide the type of men we strive to be.
We hope you'll get to know us. We are always on the search for future brothers.
