Each year the President's Trophy is awarded to the most outstanding Fraternity, Sorority and Housing Center for academics, involvement and volunteerism. President David Boren gives the award to the fraternity who over the previous fall and spring semester, was the most outstanding fraternity. Judging is done with the use of the chapter’s President’s Book which includes academic achievements, chapter philanthropies, and member spotlights. We are excited and grateful to have been awarded the President’s Trophy for Most Outstanding Fraternity 2016!
This Fall, Delta Kappa signed over 50 outstanding young men who have started their journey to becoming members and brothers of Alpha Tau Omega. Ruh Rah!
Brothers Will Moon (R) and Dalton Kniss (L), President and Vice President respectively, traveled to ATΩ Nationals this summer and brought back a total of 4 awards for Delta Kappa. As a chapter we were recognized with Recruitment and Academic Excellence, while also receiving two of ATΩ's top awards: the Upper Alpha and True Merit. This is the third consecutive year we have been awarded the True Merit and also the fourth True Merit in 5 years, which is something we are very proud of here in Norman; not only are we a presence on campus once again, but we are also doing well in comparison to Tau's around the country. Check out the link below for a letter from ATΩ CEO Wynn Smiley.
